When we were 1st introduced to laser guns we were very skeptical to begin with. After all, we are ballies and the adrenaline of paintball seemed the only way to go. Well we were wrong! Although there is no ‘pain factor’ in laser tag the adrenaline is still very much there. For those of you who were lucky/unlucky enough (depending on your experience) to attend military service the concept of laser tag will seem like second nature.
Stealth is the name of the game and after playing for 3 months now every Wednesday night at the local shopping mall we are 100% converts. We still enjoy paintball but laser is just so much easier and cleaner – as well as cheaper! No mess, no pain, no noise, no safety issues. To play is as easy as 1,2,3. Another added benefit is that your fitness levels go up – the 1st few weeks we played it felt like army basics all over again…”kannie meer nie korporaal!”
The laser guns are very realistic and look like M15 assault rifles. We are also able to play any type of game that you can think of. Maybe you want to get your mates together and meet once a week to play, maybe you would like to set up your own mini league and play once a month. With laser the options are limitless and due to the safety, cleanliness and affordability of this it can be played pretty much anywhere at anytime. We prefer playing at night as it is quieter and the laser dots are awesome to see – you also get more distance at night and can easily sneak up on an opponent and shoot him from 100m away, without him even knowing where you are!
To add that x factor play amongst your mates and make the losing team buy the 1st round of drinks, pay for your game or play for a bounty…as i said, the options are limitless.
Hope to see you ballies reliving your childhood soon!
